May 3rd - The WIU Fishing Team has made a new public tournament in place of their fundraiser that was cancelled. The new tournament is the Memorial Weekend River Rumble and will be May 25th on pool 19 of Mississippi River and is welcome to both public participants and public fans to come and see the weigh in! April 24th - The Illinois State Collegiate Tournament has been canceled for April 27th.

 April 22nd - The Illinois State Collegiate Tournament is this weekend April 27th on Carlyle Lake beginning at 7am and ending at 3pm if you would like to watch weigh in please feel free to attend at the dam west ramp at 3:15 pm. This tournament tends to bring around 30 boats and may be larger this year. Schools you will see include WIU, NIU, ISU, U of I, SIUE, SIUC and a possibility of Bradley attending. * Also we are still waiting on a return call from the DNR which should come in this week about the WIU Open Reschedule.  *
